Radio, television and print materials were developed with technical assistance from JHU/PCS and Paradise Ltd. The campaign promotes seventy-five Government Family Planning Cabinets throughout the country, and twenty pharmacies in Yerevan. A distinctive campaign logo featuring a family walking on a green path, and the campaign slogan "Family Planning: The Right Path for Your Family" identifies all materials. The campaign is referred to as the "Green Path Campaign" and runs through November 2000. The campaign promotes modern contraception and family planning clinics nationally using a combination of national and regional media as well as community events. The program also trained doctors in counseling and interpersonal communication and pharmacists in quality customer service and contraceptive technology in pilot regions. The pharmacy training is an important component of the program because a 1997 national survey found that more women get their contraceptive methods from pharmacists than any other source. Campaign materials such as this brochure on oral contraceptives will be distributed throughout the country (100,000 printed.) less
