It specifically targets youth leaders or group facilitators but is useful to all youth in the family, school, health centres and the community. The purpose of the guide, and the aim of Y.E.A.H., is to help young people in Uganda raise awareness and take action against "Something for Something Love" by encouraging discussion and action in their communities. It provides a step-by-step guide to mobilizing communities to take action against "Something for Something Love." Each step builds on the steps before it and has a number of goals and desired outputs. The steps are: 1) Using this guide; 2) Sensitizing your friends about "Something for Something Love"; 3) Getting adults to help; 4) Learning more about "Something for Something Love" in our community; and 5) Planning for action. Each step has an introductory section on topics to be discussed, what members should know by the end plus things that will be needed during the meeting. In Step 1 there are clear guidelines on what to do before, during, and after each meeting. less
