The manual includes basic facts about HIV/AIDS, global facts and figures about the HIV/AIDS epidemic, and specific facts and figures for India. It includes a chapter of information resources including websites, state agencies, NGOs and positive people networks. The main thrust of the manual is encouraging responsible media behavior through chapters on specific language usage and terminology, ethical reporting, gender sensitivity, human rights, and legal concerns. The CD-ROM includes all the documents in the manual plus additional reports and examples to support the message of responsible reporting. The kit also includes two small (11-13 cm) squares of cloth with the red AIDS ribbon quilted in the center and decorative beading around the edges.|Extremely similar to Kits KT IND 9 and KT IND 10. Appears to be an intermediary between the two, containing more extensive information than kit 10, but not as extensive as kit 9. less
